Miguel A. Del Real is a Chicago native, born and raised in Little Village. As an artist, his original designs are influenced by indigenous patterns and calligraphy; his signature style uses layers to show conceptual or abstract imagery, line precision, and unique color combinations. Public mural installation is a passion as it combines technical training and keen perspective to create something special for each location. Recent project partnerships include the City of Chicago, Adler Planetarium, the City of Santa Clarita California, JD Sports x Adidas, Tecate, Arts Gowanus and the New York Department of Transportation. In addition, Del Real has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, has exhibited in various solo and group shows in the midwest and works as an Art Educator who connects with youth and diverse communities to develop expression through creativity and cultural identity.
