Epifanio Monarrez, of Epifanio Studios is a printmaker, graphic designer, photographer, muralist, and visual artist born and raised in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Digital Media Technology from Columbia College Chicago. During his time at Columbia College, Epifanio was introduced to printmaking through art coursework. Epifanio has since been inspired to bring conceptual art to life through printmaking. Epifanio also enjoys photography and creating digital and aerosol art as well as art produced through traditional media such as oil and acrylic paints, pastels, charcoal, pencil, ink, and watercolors. He has advanced his graphic design and artistic abilities through years of experience and has showcased his work at several galleries and events. He is currently developing a new found passion for photography, which stemmed from his love of graphic design. Epifanio’s influences mostly arise from nature and urban settings.
