Julia Cocuzza is a Brooklyn-based painter, muralist, designer, print maker, and educator. She has led numerous public projects, collaborating with Groundswell, NYC Mural Art Project, Mural Arts Philadelphia, and Sing For Hope. Her paintings capture the loaded intersections, layers, and fragments of daily living, with a particular affection for urban structures, natural systems, music, obsolete media, human interaction and social justice.
