Liz LaManche is an artist with background in architecture, software UX and graphic design. Her installations are site and neighborhood specific, coming from a place of socially conscious public art. Often with vibrant color and layers of symbolic elements, LaManche uses paint, cement stain and colored light to enhance people's experience of urban places. She is known for ground tattoos, asphalt art, urban placemaking, and immersive environments with color-changing light as well as murals.
