Born LA 1944. Did my time in the US Army, and UCLA’s MFA program. Spent the 70s and 80s in Chiapas State, Mexico. Got a Fulbright for Mexico City. Lived in Tepito. Late 80s did some murals in Estelí, Nicaragua. Back to Chiapas with the Zapatista Revolution no surprise. Another Fulbright, this time teaching public art at the National School of Fine Arts, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I live half the time in Chiapas, half in LA’s Highland Park. Public art pays most of the bills.
