Robert Markey works in many media and does public art projects around the country. He received national media coverage for his public performance work on domestic violence. He does mosaic murals around the world and works in Asia and Brazil with youth in vulnerable situations doing mosaic murals. He did painted murals with refugees in the U.S., Greece, and India. He works in his studio in Ashfield, Massachusetts and teaches at the Springfield Museum School and the Franklin County Jail.
