The mural site is located on a prominent building at 15 S. Main Street. Artwork Goals The mural should serve as a gateway to Historic Springboro. Celebrating Springboro’s history, culture, and pride, inspiring community connection, and enhancing the downtown environment for residents and visitors.

This mural will be located along the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department’s (CRPD) Olentangy Bike Trail. Designed to complement the 2024 mural, Full Circle, this initiative integrates art, education, and environmental stewardship to engage the community and highlight the intersection of water utilities and water resources. Provide concepts for a mural that will depict iconic images of destinations in this Ohio city. The intent of the mural is to create a sense of place and a positive first impression for visitors by presenting a colorful representation of its vibrant iconic, historical and unique landmarks that will promote tourism to our visitors.

Up to 3 artists or groups of artists whose proposed qualifications demonstrate, in the review panel’s sole opinion, the qualifications that best fulfill the purposes of this project will move to the finalist selection phase, PHASE II. Beginning in 2008 in Lafayette, Indiana, the program now spans a 14 county region in the North Central part of the state. Collectively, over 100 murals are included as a part of the Wabash Walls program. Wabash Walls has successfully united the region and made this part of Indiana an arts destination. The success of the program is centered around partnering local community members with artists to develop theme, content, and subject matter that is specific to that population.
