Each year the gallery invites a panel of renowned arts professionals and collectors to select the newest creative talents from around the world.

APPLY HERE -- https://www.maconartsalliance.org/muralfestival/ -- The goal of the 2025 Macon Mural Festival (MMF) is to brand Macon, GA as a vibrant and creative destination. This year, we are looking for artists to participate in this 3-day event. Each participating artist will be given a prepped wall to complete their mural and a $1,500 stipend plus $500 for supplies. The Festival will also provide lodging for all artists. Murals can be open theme but must be approved by the business that sponsors the wall. To kick off the festival, artists will arrive in Macon, GA on Thursday, September 11th. The festival will host a kick-off breakfast on Friday, September 12th, and then artists will have all day Friday and Saturday to complete their murals. All murals will be unveiled on Saturday, September 13th at our MMF Celebration Party. One artist will be selected as our featured artist in residence. The festival will provide the featured artist lodging, the largest wall, and a higher stipend for their mural materials. This artist will also receive the most press for the event. The Macon Mural Festival is hosted by Macon Arts Alliance. Macon Arts Alliance fosters support for the advancement of arts and culture in Central Georgia. It was established to address the lack of access to legal education for African Americans in Louisiana. Over the decades, SULC has grown into a nationally recognized institution known for its commitment to diversity, access, and excellence in legal education. The Oliver B. Spellman Library, undergoing significant renovation and expansion, includes the Civil Rights Room, a space dedicated to commemorating the struggle for civil rights and the Law Center’s integral role in this ongoing fight. This initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and societal progress. The commissioned artwork will serve as the centerpiece of the Civil Rights Rooms within the Oliver B. Spellman Library, embodying the rich legacy and ongoing pursuit of civil rights and social justice. The selection committee is open to various artistic interpretations and emphasizes artistic excellence and technical ability over a specific medium. Artists may propose both 2D or 3D works, including but not limited to sculpture, mixed-media installations, stained glass or light-based works, kinetic or interactive art, murals or painted panels, and mosaic compositions.

APP LINK -- https://codaworx.com/rfp/rfp-detail/indoor-wall-mural-for-medical-college-campus -- Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM)’s Suwanee, Georgia campus is seeking professional muralists and/or muralist teams to submit their interest and qualifications to design and install an interior mural in the atrium of our main building. This campus location is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025; for more information about the organization, please visit https://www.pcom.edu/campuses/georgia-campus/ SCOPE The mural will be painted on an interior finished drywall, of approximately 1,200 sq. ft. in area. The mural should cover the entire surface of the wall as currently done by the existing wallpaper mural which is being replaced. There is one option associated within the scope of the project, which may/may not include adhering wallpaper material (refer to the details within this RFQ). BUDGET The all-inclusive budget for this project is UP TO $35,000 to include artist fees, supplies, travel, and other associated expenses. This budget would include the primary wall, and the addition of any “options” the artist may choose to incorporate – including texture or mosaic elements.
